Say yes to the dress.

Gowns. Everyone's talking about them. When you walk into a room with a patient, every droplet counts. A sneeze that landed on my forearm? A bit of spit from a close examination that ended up on my shirt?

With the rush to move between patients quickly, there's not enough time to change clothes with every transition. There are also just not enough clothes.

But gowns are lovely. With highly specialized requirements, gowns are rated on their level of permeability. Basically, it's all about how much can get through. Using the AAMI scale as a rating, Levels 1-3 go from a paper napkin all the way to a tablecloth. At AAMI level 4, total impermeability to liquids, you're essentially wearing a medical-grade trash bag. That's what we're going for.

Gowns need full frontal coverage. They need thumbs loops to stay on hands and have gloves over and under them. Thin material. Not too noisy. Inexpensive. They should have the ability to tie in the front, fit multiple body sizes, have a high neck, and be able to ripped off so as to avoid infection. If you're a Californian, it's like ripping off your clothes after a poison oak hike. Don't you wish they could just fly off your body? Gowns will eventually need to be made in multiple sizes. Have an option with more back coverage.

Gowns are necessary, and the demand is large. We're going to start by making 5,000 of them which will only cover a small bit of the demand. We will be releasing all the designs as we go, and continuously encouraging larger businesses to hop in and catch up.

After all, who doesn't love a good party dress?
