BLACK LIVES MATTER

This is a moment in history. The senseless murder of George Floyd has led to demonstrations of the mourning, hurt, and agony caused by a systemic racism that has plagued our nation since before its inception. In the midst of one pandemic, the nation has come to address a second that has plagued us for much longer, one of deeply pervasive racial injustice.

To our black brothers and sisters and members of our organization: We hear you. We believe that #blacklivesmatter. We wish that phrase could be implicit, but at this time we have to make it explicit.

What does this mean for us as an organization?

This project has always been about protecting people, about communities working together to do the best good we can, often through engineering, fabrication, distribution, and support. But it can also be more.

In this time, we must reflect on how we can support communities in need in any way we can. 

To our members who are experiencing this in a way deeply personal, know that you are safe here. We understand that some of us can never understand, but still we stand. 

Let’s work together and support one another. We are here to lend our hand to this important struggle. After all, we have to do something.
